Understanding the Complete Coverage of Essential Oils – From Ancient Wisdom to Modern Day Science

In the world of holistic wellness and natural healing, the concept of “complete coverage” with essential oils takes us on a journey far deeper than what initially meets the eye. When we say that essential oils can provide us with complete coverage, it’s not just about the surface level and how pleasant they smell or make us feel momentarily; it’s about the profound impact on the very core of our being. Most people tend to overlook the transformative potential of essential oils, often only scratching the surface of their capabilities.

But let’s dare to imagine being beautiful vibrationally, as essential oils have the incredible ability to influence every nook and cranny of our existence.

Essential oil molecules possess the remarkable ability to reach and enter every system, organ and membrane of our cells, as well as the membrane of foreign microbes, thereby affecting cellular processes. They can even cross the blood-brain barrier, which is very selective due to its primary role in protecting our brain from harm. They also impact the less visible, such as brainwaves and the energetic field of our entire being. There is no part of our physical or energetic body that cannot be influenced by these potent molecules.

Let’s uncover the incredible benefits of essential oils’ ability to achieve complete coverage.

Understanding Vibration

To truly appreciate the concept of “complete coverage” with essential oils and their profound impact on the vibrations of the mind, body, and spirit, it’s essential to delve into the concept and history of vibrational (subtle) energy healing and its impact on our well-being. The notion of vibration as a fundamental force in the universe has been explored for centuries, deeply rooted in various cultures and belief systems. Ancient civilizations, from the Egyptians to the Chinese, recognized the vital connection between vibration and well-being, often incorporating practices like sound therapy and energy balancing in their healing traditions. In the 20th century, pioneers such as Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein introduced groundbreaking scientific theories that further emphasised the role of vibration in the cosmos. They theorised that everything in the cosmos vibrates, which is now a widely accepted scientific fact. This historical backdrop lays the foundation for understanding how essential oils, with their unique vibrational signatures, can harmonise with the body’s energy and facilitate self-healing on a profound level.

 Vibration and Emotions Connection

The exploration of vibration not only provides us with a historical and scientific context but also helps us understand the intricate connection between vibrations and emotions (energy in motion) and ultimately our overall well-being. Emotions are currents of energy with different frequencies that not only move through our body but become stuck in different areas of our body. Sound vibration therapy is a practice that dates back millennia, involving using specific sound frequencies to balance and harmonise the body. Sound carries frequencies. The laws of physics tell us that through the universal principle of entrainment, two oscillating bodies lock into phase and vibrate in harmony. The concept is firmly established, researched, and accepted by the scientific community.

Entrainment happens all around us all the time. It occurs in biological contexts, like when close-knit groups of women synchronise their menstrual cycles. Mechanically, it happens with clock pendulums, initially out of sync they eventually swing in unison. Emotionally, this phenomenon materialises when you enter a room filled with people exuding joy and light-heartedness, and your mood spontaneously aligns with theirs.

Essential oils in their purest form carry specific vibrational frequencies that have been measured. These frequencies work in synergy with the body’s own energy fields, influencing emotional states, which very often precedes one’s state of health. When utilised consistently over time, our body has no choice but to align with the harmonising effect of essential oils. This connection between vibrational frequencies and emotions provides a gateway to understanding how essential oils can contribute to complete coverage, addressing not just our body chemistry but the vibrational essence of our being.

Historical context of Essential Oils

The history of essential oils is as rich and diverse as the history of vibrational healing itself. Essential oils have been used for thousands of years across cultures worldwide, from the aromatic and spiritual rituals of the ancient Egyptians to the Ayurvedic practices in India. These oils were cherished for their therapeutic properties, and they were often seen as a bridge connecting the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of human existence.

By the late 20th century, essential oils were starting to become more and more well-known, especially among wellness enthusiasts and practitioners of alternative and complementary medicine. At this time, essential oils were integrated more deeply into the realm of subtle energy practices.

Today, in our fast-paced modern lives, the value of essential oils has not diminished. In fact, their relevance has only grown stronger. The applications of essential oils have expanded significantly. Not only are they widely used in aromatherapy, a practice that harnesses their potent aromatic and therapeutic qualities to promote physical and emotional balance, they are often used together with other modalities such as meditation, breathwork, and emotional release techniques based on psychology practices, offering us the opportunity to experience their complete coverage more comprehensively than ever before.

Their evolution has been influenced by the continued dedication of aromatherapists, holistic health practitioners, scientists, researchers and enthusiasts who have delved into the science and art of essential oil therapy. Most notably:

  • René-Maurice Gattefossé (1881 – 1950), regarded as the Father of Aromatherapy and inventor of the word itself. After a laboratory explosion covered him with burning substances which he extinguished, both his hands were covered with a rapidly developing gas gangrene. His experience told him to rinse it with lavender essence which stopped the gasification of the tissue. Subsequently he collaborated with a number of doctors to further investigate the medicinal benefits of essential oils by applying them to soldiers’ wounds during World War I.

  • Dr. Jean Valnet (1920 – 1995), a medical doctor, army surgeon and aromatherapist known for pioneering the use of essential oils in modern medicine. Convinced of the benefits of medicinal plants, he was the first to study the therapeutic virtues of essential oils clinically and developed an unprecedented knowledge of aromatherapy. He used essential oils on soldiers during World War II. His research and writings are considered the most influential.

  • Henri Viaud, artisan distiller of essential oils with a vision to produce essential oils specifically for use in aromatherapy, he was the first to publish the terms “genuine and authentic” in connection with essential oils. He was considered the father of French distillation.

  • Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt – a chemist, author, and researcher specialising in the chemical and therapeutic aspects of essential oils. He provides a scientific basis for the efficacy of essential oils.

  • Dr. David Stewart – known for his research on essential oils in emotional healing, author of “The Healing Oils Of The Bible ”, based on both science and scripture, reveals how prayer and anointing with oils was practised by Jesus’ disciples and early Christians

  • D. Gary Young – Founder of Young Living Essential Oils, played a pioneering role in popularising essential oils and aromatherapy, emphasising the importance of pure, unadulterated oils. He studied and trained with Henri Viaud, and other medical experts in Switzerland and France, and collaborated with professionals like Jean-Noel Landel and Kurt Schnaubelt. This had a significant impact on Young’s approach to essential oils and contributed to his passion for discovering innovative farming, harvesting and distillation techniques that preserve the full chemistry, vibrational integrity and hence, therapeutic quality of essential oils.

In Conclusion

Understanding the profound impact of essential oils and their ability to provide complete coverage wasn’t always the way we see it today. Indeed, just a few decades ago, essential oils were in their infancy in terms of their widespread recognition and application. However, thanks to key figures like those mentioned earlier and many others, our understanding and appreciation for essential oils have advanced significantly over the years. These pioneers, along with scientific research and a growing community of enthusiasts, have propelled essential oils into the forefront of holistic wellness practices. Today, you can harness the vibrational power of essential oils to achieve physical, emotional, and spiritual balance, unlocking a path to vibrant well-being that extends far beyond the surface level of their pleasant aromas and sensory delights.
